Due to bad knee replacement I was left with chronic pain, where the severity vacillates. Barometric changes and the speed of those changes definitely effect my comfort. My pain medication takes an hour and half to kick in. Different severity requires more medication and the more one takes there is a side effect of being drowsy. When I start to see a change I jump on my medication. Tapping on the center screw moves the needle reading to a more accurate one. Besides my comfort, the readings do help to predict the weather. This barometer is attractive and goes with many room decores. The small size and easy of readings makes a great package.
