Vantage Pro2 Plus Anemometer

The Vantage Pro2 Plus Anemometer includes a solar powered transmitter, with battery backup, which allows you to install your Anemometer separately form the sensor suite. This Suite also includes pre-installed UV and solar radiation sensors.

Anemometer Transmitter Kit:
• Works with all Wireless Vantage Pro2 models
• Lets you mount the Anemometer in a different location than the integrated sensor suite
• Can be up to 1,000-feet from the console/receiver
• For longer distance add one or more wireless repeaters (not included)
• Transmitter is inside a weather-resistant shelter
• Powered by a solar panel with a battery backup
• Mounting hardware included

Integrated Sensor Suite includes: :
• Solar radiation sensor meticulously designed for an accurate cosine response
• The UV sensor s the UV index, dose rate as well as daily and accumulated dose rates
• A solar powered transmitter with battery back-up
• Transmits up to 1,000-feet outdoors, line of site and 200 to 400-feet through walls
• Laser calibrated rain collector that meets WMO guidelines
• Temperature and humidity sensors are inside a radiation shield, for protection from radiated or reflected heat, increasing reading accuracy
• A rugged Anemometer registers wind speed and direction

Vantage Pro2 Console:
• Frequency hopping spread spectrum radio provides improved transmission distance and reception
• Large, backlit LCD screen is easy-to-read
• Updates every 2.5 seconds for the most current information
• Forecast icons display expected weather for the day
