I purchased this item to monitor the temperature in the office for which I work. We had just moved into a new location within the same building we were previously in & found the temperature to be very warm & not conducive to a comfortable working condition. The building manager would come in with a temp gun & point it to the air vents & tell us the temperature was ranging just fine. After I installed this product in my cubicle, placing the sensor unit in a different area of the office & the display unit within my cubicle, it truly showed that there was a difference of at least 10 degrees from what they were reading. The landlord himself has seen this & is now going to rectify the problem.
