Description

The La Crosse Technology Wireless Indoor / Outdoor Thermometer has an easy to read LCD display with large numbers so you can get an update on the time and temp with a quick glance. This unit displays the indoor and outdoor temperature, and keeps track of recent min/max temperature values. It also shows the time in 12 or 24 hour display. Hang the unit on a wall or perch it on a table with its detachable stand.

          Followed instructions step by step. Took a while for the receiver to acclimate to the outdoors, but after a while it calmed down and got accurate. Hasn't fluctuated since. I love being able to see at a glance just what the temp outdoors is. Product delivers just what it advertised. Love it!

              Large display can be read from several feet away. Checked accuracy with 2 other non-remote thermometers and all agree within 1 degree. Much more accurate than our other remote reading thermometer.

                I bought this replace an old Radio Shack wireless thermometer. I also have a older LaCrosse wireless in my summer home, which is why I went with this one. Easy to use and to set-up. I like that the indoor unit uses AAA batteries so the profile is a bit slimmer than other models. The one thing not so great is the 1.5 F degree difference in temp readings between the indoor and outdoor unit when placed on the table next to each other. I tried several different positions (flat on the table vs standing up) to see if the difference was due to something else, but always a consistent 1.5 difference. Probably does not make much of a difference when units are placed outside vs inside.

                Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
