The Spectrum ThunderBolt Storm Chaser is a lightning and storm detector designed for maximum portability. Perfect for amateur and professional storm chasers alike, this model is fully gasketed for water resistance in severe weather conditions. It includes a durable hard-side case, soft nylon case, and a 12-volt car adapter for easy portablility and use in the field. This latest edition of the Thunderbolt features a backlit LCD, which automatically illuminates for 15 seconds whenever a storm is detected. It can also be activated by pushing the "choice" button. The LCD can be set to remain on when connected to a power source with the included AC adapter.
