Comments about La Crosse Technology Handheld Anemometer:
Yeah, it works great, but I thought it might jinx the extreme wind we seem to be having day after day! Not, still windy! Seriously it's a great small tool for the outdoor nut.

Comments about La Crosse Technology Handheld Anemometer:
I live in an area that gets consistently more wind than sourrounding areas and wanted to know exactly what I'm dealing with for my gardens, and generally how much wind speed to add to the forcast to get my wind speed at home. This product is easy to use, and I carry it with me in my purse. The battery was fine when it arrived.

Comments about La Crosse Technology Handheld Anemometer:
I am monitoring wind speed to learn if it would be fesible for us to have a windmill. The only drawback to this device is that you can not do a running average for windspeed. You can only get an average for 6 seconds.
